Start with the experience you want.

Tired legs and feet after walking, sightseeing or standing can be an everyday comfort concern. A KiWest massage can include agreed focus areas as part of a bookable massage service. This is different from treating swelling, oedema, circulation disorders or a suspected blood clot.

KiWest Spa is a day spa in Belleville, Saint Michael, Barbados, near Bridgetown. Massage services are booked as KiWest Massage, Deep Tissue Massage or Hot Stone Massage, not as a medical treatment.

Short answers

What to know before you book.

Open only the question you need. These guides support a booking decision without trying to diagnose the cause of a symptom.

What does KiWest actually offer?

KiWest offers KiWest Massage, Deep Tissue Massage and Hot Stone Massage. You can discuss legs or feet as focus areas, but KiWest does not currently offer a separately named foot massage or lymphatic-drainage service.

How should I plan the appointment?

Choose 30 minutes for a focused appointment or 60 minutes for broader work. Avoid arriving directly from a rushed or overheated activity. Hydrate normally and share any symptom or health concern during consultation.

When should I seek medical advice?

New swelling on one side, calf pain, warmth, redness or darkened skin needs prompt medical advice. Breathlessness or chest pain with leg symptoms is an emergency. See the NHS DVT guidance.

Safety comes before the appointment.

Do not book massage to “move fluid” or treat swollen legs. KiWest does not offer lymphatic drainage. New, painful, hot, red, darkened or one-sided swelling requires medical assessment. Massage is a spa service, not medical diagnosis or treatment. Tell the therapist about injuries, health conditions, medicines, pregnancy, recent surgery and any area that should be avoided. Read the full massage safety guide.

Frequently asked questions

Useful answers, kept concise.

Does KiWest offer a foot massage?

KiWest offers massage appointments where focus areas can be discussed. It does not currently list a separate foot-massage or lymphatic-drainage service.

Can I book after a day of sightseeing?

Yes, if you otherwise feel well and the issue is ordinary tiredness. Allow time to cool down, hydrate and arrive without rushing.

Can massage treat swollen feet?

No. Swelling may have many causes and should not be presented as a simple massage concern. New or one-sided swelling, pain, warmth or redness needs medical advice.

Which pressure should I choose?

Gentle-to-moderate pressure is a sensible starting point for relaxation. Firm pressure is optional and should remain comfortable.

Is 30 minutes enough for legs and feet?

Thirty minutes can suit a focused request. Sixty minutes provides more time for broader work and relaxation.
